  Property must front a suitable Vector gas main  (contact us today and we can advise)

  The distance from the boundary to the intended meter position is less than 20 metres*

  - Gas Meters should be placed on the front of the property or 2 metres from either front corner.

  - The distance from boundary to gas meter must include a 1 metre riser to the gas meter.

  The minimum energy retailers energy requirements are met

 - Gas Appliances to be installed must have a combined load greater than 15Mj per annum - eg Hot Water - if unsure call us for further details.

  Where the road is greater than 12m wide and/or busy CBD area - the service is subject to Vector approval.

 * Where the distance is greater than 20 metres - an additional charge per metre will be charged at the applicable rate judging on ground conditions encountered - see below:-
